hey my buddy has 2002 ranger fx4 level II and the steering wheel and tires wobble when he goes around turns, checked ball joints and tie rods, seem fine any ideers?
did you have the front end jacked up to do brakes, If you turn the wheel by the tire on a ford with a rack you will have a wobble when turning for a couple days.
I've had some experience with the same problem on an explorer at work... What we found was that the seals in the rack were letting a little bit of air get in and causing the wobble. In our case, the truck didn't lose any fluid yet but it did have the same drivability issue.
