Should probably move this to the Land Use Forum.

Or Check out www.glfwda.com or www.mtc.org there is a pretty good listing for places to wheel in the forums.
both them links appear to be dead.......any chance of new ones?

There aren't really any good places to 4wheel around here. You best bets closest bets are

The mounds
Grayling
West Branch
Other assorted two tracks up north - but you better know the law or you'll get ticketed.

As far as other places to wheel that are further away

Drummond Island and Turtle Ridge
The Badlands (Indiana)
Rockport (Illinois)
Paragon (Pennsylvania)
Wellsville/Forbidden Zone (Ohio)
Slade Kentucky
Tellico
Gitchee Gumme

There are a couple other parks that I've heard of but not positive on their names like

Haspin Acres
Crazy Acres (might be the same as Haspin)
and a couple others that I can't think of now.

obviously you don't know the ins and outs of this. stop by any realestate office and pick up a hand full of listings for the local area, then if you do get pulled over you have proof your in search of property and then the police or DNR will leave you be.
I spent lots of weekend looking at propertys all around the crawford & oscoda areas. my wife drove the whole time and we found the properties in most cases that we were looking for, some places you wouldn't expect to find a good time are there waiting for you.
