What a difference gears make. I pulled the f150 about 20 miles out to wixom at 65 and the truck didn't even down shift once on the freeway. Got to love 4.56's thanks Scott. Now to get my jeep to the mounds.

95 Chevrolet C2500 with the 6.5 Turbo Diesel, auto trans (4L80E?) and a 14 bolt 4:11 limited slip rear end. It's going to be my hauler/shop truck. Thoughts?

My new tow rig. 94 GMC 1 ton dually. 2wd, 454 TBI with 4L80 trans. 82k miles. Truck is 95% rust free (3 small rust bubbles on each rocker and rust holes on rear bumper). Motor has spun bearing so it will be getting rebuilt with a few goodies added. Really clean interior for the age. Truck will be a work in progess. Things to come are new paint, 4" cowl hood, all smoked out lights, 2-4 drop kit and many more. Couldn't really beat the price for as clean as it is.

'04 DMax dually nothing special, EFI Live, upgraded trans, billet converter, 4" exhaust, leveling kit... What a comfortable towing truck.

Big step up from my '02 1500 with the 5.3L lol. Although that truck held it's own towing my pig around. Over 300,000kms on it now, stock motor, trans, t-case. It's towed my jeep to Harlan, Windrock, the UP, northern Ontario no probs.
