its like anything in life it all depends on how you use it... i know people who use them on half ton trucks for their own driveways and they are just fine but if yo are plowing parking lots all day long then it is going to take its toll on the trans...its like jeeeps i have seen wranglers with 38's and a d35 and wheel all day long with no issues and the same jeep with 60's and snap a axle pulling off a trailer...now i know that iss a extreme but you get the idea...
look at it this way if you get the truck for a great deal you can trade someone who has a straight blade and have a good truck to plow hal wood ect...and prolly even get some cash in pocket to boot!!!
Thats exactly what I was thinking of doing! Or sell the Vblade and buy a straight blade and I should have some money left over. Thanks for the advice guys. Everyone had something to say that makes sense. The truck is a 95 Silverado ext cab. 350 tbi. The plow has only been on the truck for one month.
that plow is way to big for the truck thats for damn sure. we run 9.2 plows on 1 tons and 3.4 tons
