Was out there today, the water is very minimal but the mud is going to get nasty. Snorkel if you want but I don't think it is needed. See ya tomorrow. Where the water is' is only 2-3 inches deep
yeah i just got back from checking out the pit, looks awesome, there is some standing water but not much, guess we will have to see how much rain we get tonight.
thanks to everyone that came out and all my crew for doing a good job helping me keep things rolling. it was a very long day and sorry about the hole at the starting line that kinda sucked!!!!! that will be fixed before july no one likes getting stuck 20 feet into the pit, pit will be better in july for sure thanks agian for the awesome turn out and don't for get to stop by the tap room and pick up a discount coupon for july
we are plaining on pushing all the slop out of the hole take 6 to8 '' of sand off the starting line push that into the hole and have some sand brought in two build up a base again then push the slop back over that . hopfully there will be a good starting line and everyone is stating out flat with the pit instead of at a downward sloupe plaining on putting some more fencing up around starting line and put somemore dirt over in pit area so we can get the crowd back behind the innouncer stand
it seemed like the low horsepower rigs like the stock class and that big black chevy that could barely spin the tires went the furthest, maybe everyone should pull a plug wire.
