Lot crawl //Long Crawl. Drivers meeting 10am. Event will start right after, 3 rigs run same time from Club or wheeling group. Push, pull, drag, strapped together or just go for it . $25 per rig , no park fee for comp drivers. As of now rules still apply as before. With the exceptions there will be more cones for the tough areas to discourage side steping the course. More info to come.
5 min pen. if rig has to be left behind due to breakage or out of GAS!!! Breakage will be assest by ME before left behind. If something is broke that can cause other MAJOR damage but rig could still move I will not force someone to cause more repairs. example:: If U-joint breaks and a knuckle is coming apart due to the shafts not lining up you can stop. But if broke clean and you still have a one wheel peel you still go. Questions to be answered at drivers meeting. You can repair //add gas, on course if you think you can do it in less than the 5 min pen.
WHO'S In??
Can be changed to Sunday if it works better for everyone
New note. I am tring to put a lunchin together for this for drivers and spotters, or whom ever if we can get enough goodies to eat. Will post if I can get it done. Bring a dish to pass at tent in camp area Lunch break after lot crawl for 1 hour
Questions call me please.
They saved the best for last, Mike dragged the Jiggler threw half of the long crawl faster than most guys drove it. It was an awesome site to see. Congrats to Mike, Corey, and Erin on first place.
Just want to thank Shawn and John for the video they captured durning the long crawl. I'll put something together from both. Thanks again, also thanks to R&V'S for another fun weekend!
Didn't think it was all about winning or losing, but having a good time wheeling. Winning is just an added bonus. Plus I would like to thank every one that helped me get my Jeep back together so I could do some trail riding over the weekend. Had a good weekend, broke stuff but got it back together, thanks for a good weekend r&v.
I think this was the most interesting and best show of the comp. There were a lot of teams and all competed very well. I wasn't able to film because i was a spotter and the team activities took up all my time, but I would like to thank Shawn from Inner Airlock, Mike, and John for giving me their video to use. Nice job on the comp R&Vs. Congrats to Mike, Corey, and Erin. enough of that here is the video...
i stripped the hub when i backed into mike...so it was 3 wheel peel and let it rip! then my rear shaft hit a rock and broke into 2..oh yea another wheel..no big deal will be ready to go next weekend..
had a blast.we smoked the first course all 3 of us in 2.09 sec w 1 penalty. we just squeked out the win.i almost blew it for us..:teehee: mike was hauling pulling me out! thanks to rocks and valley had a good time.everyone was beating on there stuff.
i have another hub, another rear shaft that is free and i was just finishing off the last 2 wheels that i have had for 5 years..so not much money. just some time in the garage.
if i was worried about how much money breaking something costs, i would not own a rig.
Good time this weekend guys, glad I could do it with all of ya.
Hope next time I have a motor that runs right....engine swap in the next couple of weeks. I bet ill have more fun and be closer to a 1% if I had some power lol
I had a great weekend, the comp was fun to watch. Had a good time wheeling the park too.
Thanks to everyone who put this together.
And congrats on your win to the 1%'ers
