I found out I have a disc problem between L4-L5. Fell at work feb26 and will be off until at least june. Being 6'3" and 280 you would think I would land like a feather! I am looking at therapy , shots and maybe surgery. Must be that time of year for alot of us. get well soon. PS. get a lighter phone.
good luck with them, I have heard that most people only get temp relief from the problem with them. I got about 2 days of relief from my round of them and Pt hurt more then it was helping
good luck with this. my dad blew out one of his disks almost six years ago. he works for the post office so he was lucky to have workmans comp. but he had 2 or 3 of the epiderials, they lasted for a few months and then would be in pain. he was perscribed vicodin and eventually became addicted to them, so the doctors cut them out. he finally had surgery about 2 years ago, which envolved them actually constructing a new disk out of bone from his hip. it was a long drawn out process but as of now he has no complaints. hopefullly everthing works out for you
I messed up the same ones plus 1C/2C, 6C, 4T, 6,8,9T, and 2L. I have no idea why the pain started in December but I was fine on a Friday and not fine the next morning. I waited to long to go to the doctor so now I'm going to a chiropractor and practicing walking normal again.
All I'm doing to get my leg muscles to loosen up is walking around the house with a book on my head to keep my posture correct. When you get a back injury you start walking stupid and everything goes wacky. My legs have been all that's been hurting other than my neck since the whole thing started. No back pain. My shoulders got messed up from trying to pull myself up and down stairs.
My reg. doc suggested just practicing walking straight and stretching then if that doesn't work physical therapy would be my next move. So, I bought a new pair of walking shoes and am standing up straight and tall - all 5'2" of me, that is.
I am sitting here with my muscle stimulator on trying to get the back to loosen up. Anyone have any luck with these?
It does work for me, but I might upgrade to the bigger, more powerful one.
