I desperately need a spare tire....having no luck finding a decently priced used one (matching or not) and since Interco refuses to build new LTB's i was kinda stuck. Well, last week i got bored and decided to email Interco customer service and see what they had to say about getting me a new tire. The lady responded right away that the 40" LTB's in 15 snd 17" rims are headed for production and would be available by june....however the 16" like i have will not be produced again do to low demand. She then offered to run a national search for the tire i needed....fast forward to today....i got an email from her saying she as found a new 16/40-16 LTB for 200$ plus shipping. Needless to say i am pretty happy with that.

Got my new tie rod installed yesterday....1 5/8 solid hexagonal bar stock. I wanted a fancy 7075 aluminum unit but by the time i got a tab on it for the ram it was going to be ridiculously expensive....i am into this for 25$ so it will have to do

That last one sucked....that hill was nasty steep and full of loose dirt and cement.....i went bombing up it and crashed into that 20' deep sinkhole....i know it doesn't look like it but the truck is actually laying on the drivers door...i was able to back out of the hole luckily but i couldn't back down the hill do to being at a terrible angle...luckily i was able to work the front end over and straddle the hole very carefully

I am a little disappointed with these new rims....they seem to not like to hold the inner bead and i think the inner is burping air.....never had either issue with the old rims :(

At 10-12 psi they seem to be ok for the most part so that's good. I would like to run them at 7-8 psi but if you do that then you start having issues. If these tires were 17's i would save up for some stazworks double beadlocks and call it good but they are 16's which are pretty much obsolete so i am not gonna drop that kinda cash on rims....especially since i would like a different set of tires eventually and they are only available in 17's

Had a good time at silver lake today.....truck did absolutely terrible just as i suspected it would lol. Actually it bombs through woops pretty decent, just don't try to go up any hills lol. I did notice it's spitting out a crap load of fluid from the tcase when i was strapping it down on the trailer.....not sure what that's all about.

Fun day at bundy hill today. After silver lake the transfer case didn't leak at all in the garage so i thought maybe it had just gotten hot and was just spitting it out the vent so i didn't do anything to it before today.....well now it is running out non stop :(.

Today was real smooth until we got to warn valley....was smoking it till about the 3/4 mark when the truck just died and wouldn't restart....after lots of head scratching we finally figured out that the coil wire had rubbed though and was shorting out....little electric tape and she fired right back up and drove right on through.

I just hope the transfer case is something simple. I hate to dump a bunch of time and money into it just to pull it in a couple months. My fear is it has smacked the trans tunnel one too many times and has cracked the case.

Looked at it tonight....it's leaking where the two halves of the case bolt together....this lead me to discover that none of the bolts were tight. So best case scenario i tighten the bolts down good and it stops or at least slows to a seep....worst case i have to pull it (not fun) take it apart and reseal it.

Fun day at Rocks and Valley's. The transfer case leaks less....but still more than i care for....i gotta get it cleaned up better but it looks like the front output seal may be blown. Time to give it a good once over ans get it ready for Harlan over labor day!

Not so great trip to Harlan....3/4 of the way through day 1 of 3 i managed to break a short side inner which i didn't have a spare for (who breaks a 60 with a 75 hp 4 cyl).....searched every where for a replacement with no luck so i packed it in and came home a day early after spending day 2 sight seeing in 2wd
