I just got a 95 tracker a few weeks ago an am looking at lift kits an tires.
I was wondering what you guys recommend on doing. I was looking at calminis 3" suspension lift and 3" body lift. an rocky-roads 4.5 suspension and body lift kit.
Also what sizes tires can i get for the:
Calmini 3" body lift
Calmini 6" suspension and body lift
Rocky Road 4.5" lift
You can fit 32"s with that package,and some fender trimming, but it won't survive to long without some beefing up of the drive train and engine. Go with the 4.5, put some 31's on it and have fun. 8v or 16v engine? I run 30's with 3.25 lift, and a couple of upgrades to the engine. I could run 31's with some fender trim.

Its a 16v. its only got like 16700-16800 miles on it.
A 6" with slight fender trimming on the back of the front fenders will fit 32's. I waited 3 months for my Rocky Road body lift. I think the Rocky Road 4.5 lift is 3"body and 1.5 coil spacers. Check zuwharrie.com to find out more about what your looking for. There are lots of variations of lift and tire combo's out there. Depends on what your looking to do with your truck (D.D., rockcrawler,mudrunner, trailtruck,etc.) Good luck.
This is a 96 that a friend of mine has.-6" Calmini lift system. (3" body and 3" suspension)
-31x10.5R15 Wild Country RVT mud tires with LOTS of tread (easily 70%). Siped center lugs. Oh and it's for sale too, I think he is looking to get around $3000.00.
Their a lot of problems with Calmini springs (saging harsh ride ect ect) I have been runing a Calmonky 2inch lift for about 3 years I am replacing the springs with OME. Their customer service stinks so deal with a company like lowrang offroad not directly with Calmini if you go that route. Powdercoat fell off after one year, their is a company out of Canada that is offering a 4.5 inch sup lift + 2inch body lift. T Jefferson
You said your replacing your calmini with ome. OME springs come in the rocky-road 2.5 suspension lift and the 4.5 suspension an body lift. So would Rocky Roads 2.5in lift with the calmini 3 body lift work?
I only run the calmini 2" lift on a 1995 Tracker . What are you going to do with your tracker Their are a few issues you have to address with a 3" body lift.( extending steering shaft, brake lines, ect.), a lot of people have had problems with Calmonky springs and you have to end up replacing them. The quality of their parts are good other than that, but you end up spending more money to supplement their lifts. Their kits fit both 2&4 dr and their is a difference in weight with OME you can get the right spring for your veh. Depending on what you doing , I run in the sand and their springs are to rough. Their are sum good strut and spring spacer on the market that are a lot cheaper than the route your going. send me a tshawgreatlakes@yahoo.com if I can be any help. TJefferson
I did mine the cheap way. UHMW coil spacers (homemade) and also a homemade BL. Trimmed the fenders and run 31x11.5 or 10.5's can remember now. Have only had one problem and that was a front cv shaft after trying to pull someone out.
hres my 2-tracker that was done on the cheap. it has shopping cart wheels as coilspacers. i am running 30x10.5 thornbirds but was running 31x10.5 mtr's b4 those. trimmed the fenders a little. lots of fun espically with a welded rear.
also they use coil spacers for jeep tj lifts to lift these on the cheap. and for my shocks i ran crown vic rear shocks and in the front i made a spacer that was made with 2 3 bolt colocter flanges (saME PATERN AS THE STRUT TOWER) AND A 2 INCH PIECE OF EXHAUST PIPETO CONNECT THEM. sorry hit caps and wasn't paying attetion. is this gonna be a dd or a trail rig?
gonna get some pics of my dads today. he is running tj coils in the back, locked in the back and spacers up front and 33/12.50/15 mud diggers. has plenty of flex room
