The first charity event for the Wheelers For The Wounded is coming up this weekend at Albright Shores. Stop being a poser, ask your girl friend/wife to loan you back your testicals for the weekend, and bring your rig to Albright Shores for a weekend of serious 4x4 action and entertainment.

There will be something for everyone at this event from the stock Geo Tracker to the outragesly built BDMT. Click this link ---> www.wegotmud.com for more information.

The gate fee is 10 bucks and its 50 bucks to run all the events both days. There is free rustic camping on site with your paid gate fee.

The money from this event will be used to host the WFTW main event next August 09 at the Mounds off road park in Mount Morris. The main event is part of a national tour by WFTW and will covered in the major off road magazines and possibly a TV documentry. The main idea for WFTW is to provide Purple Heart veterans the chance to experience the 4x4 lifestyle and to say thank you for protecting our freedoms and way of life.

You can have a good time at any level. Since this is a friendly competition to raise money for a charity you can participate in the events that you feel comfortable in. I would suggest the sand drag, maybe the mud drag, you might want to fart around on the rock pile or you can participate in the truck pull. Of course you are welcome to participate in all events but there will be breakage this weekend.

I am working around the event on a red Case tractor or a very old and crappy Case backhoe. I also will probably be the only one there with a lifted Geo Metro. If you have any questions feel free to find me and ask. My name is Dave.

10 bucks to get into the gate, 25 bucks to run any or all of the events on Sunday.

There will be a comp bog, tug-o-war, mud drag, rock crawl, and a play bog.

This is a charity event and the competition is done more in spirit than anything else. Points are being added for each event and the person with the most points over both days gets the big trophy.

If you feel that the rock pile is not up to your standards you are welcome to come out and spectate.

The first day of the Wheelers For The Wounded charity Tough Truck Scramble has passed and it was a great day. We had a good turn out of of trucks and spectators and the participants had a great time.

I look forward to Sunday's events. Hope to see you there.
