No water, no beer: brewers race to save the ales - NBC News.com

Cliffs are they have signed up to help run us of public land.

Here a list. Clean Water, Great Beer | NRDC

The Clean Water Pledge

You can't make great beer without clean water. That's why our brewery is proud to join the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and its more than one million supporters to stand up for clean water and the Clean Water Act.

Clean water is essential to more than great-tasting beer –- it's critical for public health and the health of a wide range of industries. Responsible safeguards protect our product from upstream pollution and help us protect our downstream neighbors.

These breweries have taken the Clean Water Pledge and are partnering with NRDC to defend the Clean Water Act:

As long as Keweenaw Brewing Co never makes it on that list I'll be happy. I don't see it being an issue, the owner's daughter was a member of our Offroad club, married another member of the club, and I'm pretty sure the club members could have singlehandedly kept the place in business the first few years they opened:sonicjay:

So I read through the article, the couple posts on Pirate, and skimmed the Clean Water Act wiki page.

How exactly does this all affect us, as wheelers?

Is the Clean Water Act something the government uses far past what it was probably intended for to close trails at their whim?

If I had to choose between clean water and Wheeling, I would pick clean water.

But like Ms. Chaffer (sorry Mikey) said, I don't see a link between the two in this context.

So, I am free to drink the beers I enjoy.
