Shackle Mount ??

Ok what is pictures below is my idea for my front hitch. I marked up a drawing of the front receiver I have on order for my X. I want to make either two tow loops like in #1 and welded to the bottom side for the winch hook and easier strap pulls, or two shackles mounts like in # 2&3. I figured I’d use ¾ or 1” plate cut in the design in the second pic so it could be welded on top and bottom and in the front. Pic #3 shows my idea for lateral stability for angled pulls.

So which idea looks best?

I figure idea 3 with brackets below.

On a second note, anyone able to cut these brackets out for me, and if so how much?

I know i suck at drawing, but i think you get the idea. Not Drawn to scale either

You are not going to want these cut with Tabs machine, a plasma CNC table. At least not his, you will want these shackle mounts to be at least 3/4" thick as to not bend them if you were not doing a straight on pull. Most plasma cutters are only going to sever 1/2" and screw up 3/4". Unless you know someone with a bigger machine.

Buy 3/4" or 1" flat bar and use a band saw for the "fish mouth"
