I have seen them, as I'm sure you have, listed "buy it now" for $1,000-$1,500 on ebay. I've watched a few of those, and it seems they get relisted again and again and again, so they must not be moving quick at that price.

I've heard of a few guys that have traded them outright for a stock/core Dana 60, so figure those are worth $600-$900 tops.

I have heard/seen that they seem to sell better as a pair with the rear. I've seen a couple auctions for a pair hit around 2K. It also helps greatly if you have a way to ship (to a more affluent area)

So....front alone, local sale, this economy, I'd think around $600-700 would be a fair guess. Personally I wouldn't pay that much, maybe $400-$500.

What year, they changed in 2007. This is for a 2004-2006. The locker is probably the most expensive part. If it is in good shape they go for about 300-400. So you have to include a pump but both pumps are mounted together. The issue is a stock rubi axle needs upgrades, especially the front. You need chrome moly axle shafts and deeper gears if you run 33s and bigger. That said most people will just drop in a D60 because it is much less expensive than a rubi D44 and the upgrades. Another issue is the 4.10 gears, most people do not run 4.10 so they can not use the stock d44 without regearing the rear. A few years ago you were getting 1500+ for them but now probably under 1k. You can buy a complete new rubi axle for 2k, and that is Jeep ripping you off.

LJ Rubis are the height of Wrangler design. I am getting rid of my TJ rubi because I just bought a second LJ Rubi. One for DD and one fr offroad.

I saw you showed some interest in chadsmeltzers front 44. Can I ask why you'd be interesting in dumping your rubi44 for that? Lockouts? Maybe that isn't the plan at all, just what I took from it.

None the less, I'd be very interested in your front 44!!

i saw his 44, it got me thinking. it looked promising? thicker wall tubes, high pinion gears, bigger brakes, serviceable bearings,
and lock out hubs are nice options. off the shlf shafts help too. i would have to see it in person though.

with it unfinished, a d60 or jk 44 would be an option too.

i want to run 37's, and stock rubi axles are not the best option for that, though it has been done with some success.

i also thought about selling the axles as a matched set front and rear with pumps. i want to re-gear to 5.38, so factory lockers are not an option.

or i can keep it as is, put in 5.13's, and call it a day.
it will never see serious abuse.

plus they bring some serious coin! i could sell them and get what i want for cheap.
