So - we have a white elephant gift exchange coming up at work.

What are some of the most outlandish gifts (SFW) that you have seen or can think of?

I am thinking of a "PB&J Kit" consisting of paper plates, a knife, some bread, peanut butter and a thing of jelly.

I keep trying to talk my dad into letting me take his gilded hippo statue that he has.

"I couldn't afford a white elephant, but I got you this golden hippo instead"

Last white elephant for the in-laws i bought a couple scratchers and a flat of canned corn. It got a good laugh. A couple of the cousins fought over it through stealing becuase they have too many kids :sonicjay:

My mom always gives us crazy useless stuff, at random times of the year. A few years ago, she gave us a Kristi Yamaguchi signed commemorative plate that she hoarded at a garage sale. Yep, good old Kristi Yamaguchi. I looked at my wife and told her I know exactly where this is going. Fast forward to Christmas that year, and my office party. I wrapped that sucker up nice and tight giggling the entire time. The unsuspecting shmoe who received it was like WTF is this? Everyone got a good laugh out of it. My wife had a few too many white russians that night and randomly yelled out KRISTI YAMAGUCHI throughout the rest of the evening. On a whim, I looked it up on the interweb the next day, to see if I could find any more, like that would be my holiday calling card from now on. That F'ing plate was/is worth $200!!! I stopped laughing.
