I've checked everything. The axle joint isn't very old and the bearing rolls smooth.
It's been making this noise, but over the past few weeks it keeps getting louder.
The noise is only when I'm going forward. I've been reading about the brake pads chattering, but I'm not sure if that could be the issue.
Hopefully it isn't anything serious.
The noise goes away when I hit the brakes and I can move the caliper around if I grab the brake hose.. I don't think that is normal.
All of the bolts are tight and the bearings roll smooth.
if you can move the caliper around like that something is far from right there but bearing noises usually go away when the power is not being applied i would start with the caliper knowing that
No. I've checked that already. All of the u-joints are new, same with the balljoints. Idk how old the wheel bearings are. :sonicjay:
After wiggling the caliper around and making sure the bolts for it were tight, I'm assuming the "slides" are bad/worn out.
They are getting replaced tomorrow.
