Unfortunately we can’t go into detail, but as of today the Dave and Chuck “the Freak” show is no longer a part of the 89X line up.
We greatly enjoyed our time at 89X for over a decade, made some great friends, and are so thankful we got to be a part of your lives every morning.
We have the best listeners in the world, and you guys entertained us as much as we entertained you.

I only like drew & mike when they bitch about Detroit, other then that they are to fucking old! Yes i really wanna here more crap about the Beatles, stones, Zeppelin, Hendrix... old fucks from 50 years ago really transmits to people under thirty. RIP penis!
I tried to listen to Drew and Mike this morning...... I made it about 1 minute before the repetitive, Bevis&Butthead cackle reminded me that I'm not the loser they are targeting as a listener. Seriously, how is it that thier show is still on?
I like Drew and Mike, minus Mike. When Drew left the show for a while and it was only Mike, that's when I switched to 89X. Now I'm not sure what i'm going to listen to anymore.
The wrif has been going down hill since 2005 or earlier. Do you remember how long they kept Arthur P on the air, he couldn't read anything without f'ing it up. In a 1 hour time span the wrif might only plan 1-2 songs that were created in the last 3 years.
I have not lessened to Dave and Chuck since High school. That was almost ten years now. I did Drew and Mike for a long time but just got tired of the WRIF after the re did the station. Only nice thing they did was drop Arther P. (Thank God). I just got sick of hearing the same damn songs over and over and over again and the new stuff that come out is just a shitty as the stuff they play already.
I flip between 91.7 MI Radio (NPR) and 97.1 The Ticket now. I am called the Old man by all my friend b/c of it.
