Its just a standard issue glue trap for catching mice, so it had some seeds of some sort in it.
That one was living in the light/vent fan in the upstairs kids bathroom. Yesterday morning, Patrick woke me up to tell me there was a bug in the bathroom(he's 4). I told him to go back to sleep, and it'd go away. When I woke up, he was in the bathroom playing with some toys, and said, oh, hi dad, there's a bug in the light.
LOL. that monster was up there, but every time I tried to get it, it'd run away. Insanely fast for their size. It'd lay with its legs hanging through the grating like a lion in a tree. So I tried grabbing the legs with pliers to hold it, but it was too fast. Tried to shop vac in, too fast. Finally, I put the glue trap up there, and 2 hours later it was stuck fast.
We had them in a basement apartment in the UP. Caught a couple and took the bag full down to our landlord. He finally got the place sprayed. 2-3" was a normal size, but some of them were huge.
This one was setting up housekeeping in the garage on the steering wheel of the Jeep. Matt tried to squash it and missed. I emptied a can of raid under the seats, but it was a little wierd getting in the next couple of times we rode in it.
