I brought this 75 Ford F-250 Crew up from New Mexico a few months ago with plans to do a Cummins conversion. Quite honestly it was a bit of an impulse buy, since I'd been looking for a clean crew body for a long time.

It has 71,000 original miles, and is 100 percent stock. It is 2wd, although 4x4 conversions are easy on these trucks. The truck is 99 percent rust free, with the only rust being small areas in the cab corners and a hole in the passenger fender and core support where it appears it had a leaky battery in the past. The bed, roof, and doors are rust free, which is near impossible to find on these trucks. It is so clean underneath you can still see where Ford of Canada cut the back of the single cab to weld on the rest. For those of you that don't know, Ford did not build a true factory crew until 1980. From 1957-1979 Ford of Canada converted single cab trucks into crew cab trucks. Exact production numbers are impossible to find, however most Ford Truck resources believe there were only somewhere between 2,500-4,500 of these built between 1973-79. I have personally owned four of them, and have looked at dozens more. This is by far the cleanest original survivor I've ever found!

Truck needs weatherstrip and a dash pad. Rear tires are pretty worn too. Seats are very nice. Rear door panels have some cracks but look OK. The fuel tank switch does not work, so it only pulls fuel from the cab tank. Paint is fading, never seen salt!

Powered by the original 390 big block and four speed. Supposedly the motor has been recently rebuilt. It looks like it, as it has been freshly painted and you can see new gaskets. It does not leak a drop of oil and sounds great. Has an Edelbrock aluminum intake. I would not be afraid to get in and drive this thing across the country.

Only reason I'm selling is because I was in need of a vehicle with more seating. I don't need to sell. I might consider trades of equal value. No newer cars, antique/collector maybe.

Asking $5,800 located in Marine City
