:(I still remember that day in fifth grade when we got a morning recess. It never happened, later that day I started to understand why, a few years later I know why.

I still get a fit of rage over those that have forgotten the picture of the towers falling; people crying for strangers; EMS, Fire, and police rushing into a tangled hell hole of steel, rubble, dust, and innocent family members; a plane of people that stood their ground and fought back; missing posters placed around the city; a country in awe at something we have never seen on our soil.

The worst part of the following days that I just learned about over the weekend, when everyone in the towers were trying to call loved ones, the systems got overloaded and took up to a week to relay texts and calls. Families were getting messages saying that their dad was okay. In reality the message was days old and their dad had passed. Many families were left with these ghost messages when hope was too late. :(

Every time I walk into a 7/11 I get pissed off. Terrorist bastards! They smile, look at you, and then with their "Thank you, come again" with that annoying beard, and the dot on their foreheads and all.

Slurpee's serve as a constant reminder! Never forget!

Why thank you for the sentiment.

I feel for all the lives lost, all innocent people who met unfortunate fate. After 11 years, the Government has continued to make a mockery of what happened that day.

Are you saying it's too soon to make a joke about the dickfaced assholes that committed this heinous crime against humanity? Sorry to have caught you in the middle of your menses.

You would think that if the guy working at your local 7/11 was involved with the terrorist acts that day, he would be in custody by now. How did you get the information that he did something wrong? Was his skin color what set it off for you? Or when he questioned your welfare ass about buying slurpees and letting working class Americans pick up your depth he offended you? I hope you treat Japanese, Germans ect. with the same ignorance. Remember all tan skinned people are terrorist, all blacks are thieves, and all whites are racist hillbillies. Why don't you go suck down some government cheese you scum.

Excuse my little knowledge of all things middle east. Ask me something about Norway, I don't get tripped up on those big, burly guys! How come it's OK for low battery jokes? Do you guys hate Matt Groening for drawing Apu? Has it been proven he isn't Muslim? OK then.

I will never forget that morning.

I was at work at a local nuclear power facility, when the word went out. We watched the second tower plane and Pentagon from the emergency operations facility.

And then shit got tense.

Nuclear Security were fully suited up, locked, and loaded. We had Selfridge ATC on the radio net and heard occasional reports from F-16s flying CAP over the lake. There's a Monroe private pilot who will never be the same again. The ATC center told him to land now - he figured that he could stretch it back home instead of putting down on South Bass. He found out different. Really different.

I will never forget that day. My friends and I were on a 6 ballpark trip. We were in chicago that morning getting ready to head to Milwaukee for a brewers game.
Crazy part was our trip earlier in the year was to do an east coast trip to see the red sox and Yankees. Thank god we couldn't afford the tickets and hotels on the east coast. Who knows where we would have been.
Two of my friends enlisted when we returned. And one of my friends is still serving.

GOD BLESS THE USA !!!!

Ok, so we were attacked by Muslims, the dot is low battery, and when I pay for my slurpee with my bridge card it makes certain people's underwear cram straight up their ass, thinking about chinese, japanese, dirty germans, slippery Grecians, and Jive Turkeys.

I had a half day that day, so I didn't have to go to my home school that day, I just had to go to OTC. I watched it on tv at my house but I really didn't realize the significance of what just happened. We drove all the way to OTC and they told us to go home that school was cancelled.

I was at work. The entire office staff watched the second plane hit and then the concern about other planes attacking Washington. I remember it clearly but don't remember any significant reaction other than something terrible was happening. My boss was somewhere out east on a business trip and I remember someone calling him. He rented a car to drive home. Ever since, when I have traveled, I have hated traveling overseas knowing I would be stranded if this ever happened again.

I hate those fuckers who changed our lives forever and were such cowards as to kill innocent people. God bless those who died that day and God bless those who did so much to try to save the victims.
