I am a Christian man, and know the importance of politics and religion. The two issues are more intertwined than most realize.

BUT!!1!!! I have yet to see these two "items" (I have been thinking of a better label for them) discussed in a matter on this board, that makes "religion" a political issue.

If Deke (or anybody) wants to make a political "religious" post then it belongs here.

Otherwise, it will fall into the "you shouldn't talk about sex, religion, and politics" umbrella/policy that many of us must follow at our daily jobs.

The goal of the "pub" is to have people, (especially at work) get a chance to chat without being bothered by NSFW or threads that they are not allowed to open up at work.

60% of posts on this site happen between 8am-5pm at night.

I think the seperation of this will keep the busiest forum (the pub) alittle cleaner for everyone.

if it doesnt' work out that way, we can do away with it :)
