My CTD and Gooseneck

Posted this in the wrong forum last night... :gman:

Here is my tow rig.

2004.5 3500 Cummins Turbo Diesel
Single Rear Wheel
Auto
Firestone Ride-rite Airbags on rear axle
ATS 2-piece manifold
AFE Pro-Guard Air Intake and torque tube
Turn-over Ball gooseneck 30k pound hitch

Take-3 Gooseneck Trailer
37' on the deck
20k GVWR
Can fit 3 SWB's depending on the bumper/spare tire

That isn't my Jeep on the trailer. I delivered that one Project XJ in WI.

This is what the trailer is normally loaded with...

I'm right around 62-63' total length. I am as long as many semi's on the road. As long as I stay under 26,000 gross and don't haul for compensation, I'm legal in most states. I am too long in several states though. Not that they will probably ever break out a tape measure to check me out though. I do hit the scales on most longer trips to make sure all my axle weights are legal though.

I always like how he calls it "his" trailer and tow rig :miff:

Well ok, the truck is his, but I bought the trailer if he remembers correctly and never got paid back for it :p

I think I paid $4750 for it slightly used.

Kim

New price on this trailer would have been about $7k to $8k.
