Anyone have experience with Clydes Wheel and Frame service? (driveshaft related)

Well, running out of time to build my rear driveshaft myself, thinking of having it done.

An internet search turned up Clydes Frame and Wheel(or wheel and frame..) they said they can shorten it for about $150..

Any other places people know of in the pontiac area (don't have time to get down to joint clutch and gear on my lunchtime...) or any expereince with Clydes?

Thanks,
Haggar..

on 26 mile and I94 area there is a place called camerons cove. they have done many driveshafts for our shop and my friends. they are very good, and would be around that in price if not cheaper. 586-725-2247

Driveshaft work

You will be happy with them. They repaired a blown double cardian shat on my YJ about 7 years ago and i have not had any issues since.

Unfortunately, due to the taper in the shafts, they can't be shortened, only retubed.

I think I'll go the sch 40 pipe route and see what happens... only needs to get to the mounds and back for now...
