OSTC as it relates to the pig gig

We (GLFWDA and GL4x4) had reserved a different date for a fall event at OSTC. After a meeting with the Swamp Stompers, we changed our date to coincide with the pig gig. Although 2 different happenings on the same weekend with 2 different fees, it was agreed that since the locations are so close together, along with the fact that one is a social event and the other is a wheeling location that it should be a win-win for the entire 4x4 community.

We will be hosting folks at OSTC similar to last December and this upcoming May 31st. As you know, and IcemanII stated in another thread, OSTC is an evolving off road park that is a blast.

I am not sure if there is enough camping on site at the pig gig. There will be additional camping available at OSTC.

Rates are not set at this time. We had hoped that you could sign up and pay for OSTC at the pig gig but we have not ironed that out with the owner of OSTC yet.
Activities are not set at this time.

Something else to keep in mind. OSTC will only be available for big groups 3 or 4 times per year. Currently, this is the only time in the second half of the year that is scheduled. So, if you want to wheel at OSTC this fall, this is the date to plan for.

Hope this helps.

Swamp Stompers are doing the Pig Gig as normal. Food, partying, hanging out, etc will all happen on the fair grounds.

We are going to do an event the same weekend at OSTC for all Pig Gig attendees, and others.

Does anyone know the actual distance from the Pig Gig to OSTC?
I think about 5 miles and I believe it is all backroads.

Sweet, we'll be able to tip a few cold ones on the way

Actually that brings up a decent point. My jeep is unregistered, though it is no less road legal then the rest of them, I assume if I go to the gig I will be best served to tow it to OSTC?
