Identification Help

I have a 1980 Dodge truck, I believe that it is a prospect. It has a 360 in it. It is all stock, so does any one know what the drive train is. NP 435? for tranny and TC NP 208 ? Does any know what axles I may have. They are 8 lugs, and i believe they could be 1 tons. All help would be great

Pics would be very helpful lol. A NP435 would not be uncommon, if it is a stick, or a TF727 if its a auto, probably a D44 front, D60 rear. Hard to tell with out more info or pics.

I thought Prospectors and Snow Commanders came with 60/60 combos, but I'm no expert. I doubt you have a rear 8-lug D44, so measure the tube diameters front/rear and look at the two differentials. Are they the same dimensions?

Ya, it has A D44 front and a D60 rear, NP 208 TC but still unsure about the tranny. It is a stick which is why I think it to be a NP435
