2 stroke Cylinder/Power valve assembly

Hopefully this gets a reply quickly...

When assembling the power valve(s) on a 2 stroke cylinder, do you assemble it with a lubricant like EOS, or simply use oil, or do you leave them dry and assume the A/F mixture will lube them?

For the most part, when I pulled the jug apart it was quite sludged up and smelled of nothing other than Klotz (which smells delicious, btw )....so, I assume it does get lubed by the A/F mixture, but I can't really see it being assembled 'dry'

I dont see why not. I dont think it will hurt to apply some light lubricant like wd40 if you think it needs it.

Like you said, the A/F mixture will lube them real fast.

a little late but anywho...you can put grease on it if you wanted to otherwise wd-40 or 2cycle oil will do fine as well....you just need something on there just don't put it together dry..
