I bought a 8000lb Champion at Costco.

Years back I had a Harbor Freight/Chicago Electric/Mile Marker on my last Jeep that broke on the 5 th pull, so I figured I'll give the champion a shot. Besides for $317.99 out the door with a year warranty, it should be worth a shot.

We have one at work. I personally would not recommend it. Slow, gets hot extremely fast with light, short pulls, no part availability, etc.

Spend the extra cash and get a good reliable winch with replacement parts availability.

NO probs with mine. Got in an accident and broke a part on it...e-mailed them and had the part in 2 days with no charge.

I used mine for about 5 hours straight pulling small trees and shrubs. I didn't have any problems with mine.
