9 inch pinion angle

Anyone know what the max acceptable pinion angle is on a 9" is?

What no PM? Mine is 11* up I think, and i've read on Pirate that i'm at the limit. I've driven to D.I., KY outback, Baldwin, and the mounds twice plus daily drivin and its still holding on. I Know for a fact Jeeperz Kevin feels that 22* up is ok to run.....

You can mod it to sling some more oil into the outer pinion bearing for some more angle. Search the Pirate.

You could probably just weld in a higher fill plug as well to increase the fluid level. Not sure if you can 'overfill' a diff or not?
