Anybody here use stainless reusable filters?

I just ordered a set for my KTM but I have never used them before.

Here's what I ordered http://store.readyracingstore.com/ktmrefi.html

Should pay for themselves after about the 10th oil change but more importantly I never have to reorder a filter! I hate having to keep filters in stock especially since the KTM has 2. I change my oil about 4 times a year on average but I plan to go on some longer 100mile+ rides this year.

I hope they work like they say they do.

yes i have one in my xr650 and like the fact i dont have to buy another one ever.

i was worried about the filtration being good enough but those types of filter dont filter all that much anyways so what the hell.

no problems yet

What I'm leery of is how do you properly clean it and get all of the dirt out? They seem like an awesome idea, but for now I'll stick to paper filters.

I picked up a Scotts but haven't run it yet (the engine is still apart). If you blow compressed air thru it remember to do it from the inside out.

I have a parts washer and compressed air. I usually clean my K&N in there too.
