Ford 8.8 NEW! Zero miles!

Ford 8.8
4:10 gear, Open diff.
Disc brakes. rusty from sitting outside, will need to be turned, but they also have 0 miles on them. No calipers.
59.5 WMS to WMS.
all the other typical explorer 8.8 stuff.

great for your YJ/TJ/XJ/MJ etc.

This axle was a factory take-off. Zero miles on it. Never even mounted under an exploder. The gears still have the orig. assembly lube on them from Ford.

$450

Errrr.... here's a dumb question:

If its a factory "take-off", how was it never mounted under an Exploder?

I'm not trying to be an ass - I'm interested in it for my XJ. Just wondering about its origins, like if its the equivalent to a "blem". Did it "fall off the truck"? A Xmas bonus, perhaps?

PM me with the detals. No calipers, but has lines? Any e-brake linkage/brackets? I have never owned anything with rear discs, so I am unfamiliar with how it would be set up.

my bad. Not factory take-off. Factory over-stock. from what i understand, it was made for a certain year exploder and the new model year changed a little bit, so these didnt end up getting used. And no it was not a back-door x-mas bonus :miff:

The white stuff on the ring gear is assembly lube

a bit rusty from sitting out, but it has never been used. M.O.R.E. sells the flange to hook this into your jeep driveshaft. $40 part.

calipers not included.

all of the emergency brake stuff is there except the cables. M.O.R.E. sells a kit to hook them directly into your jeep e-brake cable though.
