Radiator leak TJ

Went to disconnect the battery today, and looked and saw my radiator is leaking. Fluid was comming out the corners of the top cap of the radiator and would extend on the sides and for about 2 inches in the front. I was about 1-2 cups of fluid low......any help here?.....do i need a new radiator and if i do does anyone have one?

Is it coming out from under the cap, or further down on the neck? If it's under the cap, get a new cap first ($5), then a new radiator if not (more $).

no, its out of the radiator cover....the big plastic things that covers the entire radiator, not just the cap

double check the cap if that is not it, it is more than likely leaking where the plastic radiator "tank" is crimped to the aluminum core.

Time for a new one. make sure your new one is all metal. I think I got mine last year from radiator.com. price was pretty good for one that three row all metal replacement.

Yes you will need to replace it. No way to fix a plastic/ aluminum radiator good.

happened to me too.

was going to go with a 3 row from radiatorbarn.com or radiator.com forgot which one it was. went to Murrays to get a replacment one which was 2-row and all metal, has a lifetime warrenty on it so if i have another leak i can just go pick one up at a local murrays. cost about 160 i think.
