My name is Ingrid and I am glad you are interested in my 2002 YAMAHA RAPTOR 660R Limited Edition listed on Craigslist. It has a 660cc engine with 256 original miles. The quad was rarely ever used and is in great shape, clear title, no need for additional repairs, no engine problems. I will include all receipts/paperwork along with the quad.

I want to let you know all the details of the transaction from the beginning to make everything clear.

Since I'm very busy, traveling a lot with business, I have chosen the eBay Shipping Center program to take care of all the proceedings, so the quad is right now in their possession in a warehouse in San Jose, CA from where it will be shipped by eBay as I had to go abroad for a business seminar and I deposited it there to do this deal in the meantime. Beside shipping the quad eBay will act as the middle man - holding the payment until you receive and inspect the quad. You will have a 3 days inspection period.
I paid all their fees, the total price is $2150 (including all the shipping costs). The transaction will be backed by their program. Please note that the quad was listed on Craigslist.com and not eBay! I am just using the eBay protection program offered by eBay.
Now, if are serious and want to close this deal email me back with your name and shipping address and I will provide them to eBay, in order to the secure transaction over eBay.

well that is like a 3500 dollar raptor, and to ship it from california to sault ste marie would probably cost 800 bucks <--guessing, and she only wants 2150 for it...i dont know. maybe im missing out? but i doubt it

I would back out of that one. It's also listed in Honolulu. Many of the scam ads are placed in Honolulu for some reason. Run a google search on the exact title of the ad.

Scam, scam, scam, scam. When you go to pay for it, there will be an issue paying through Ebay and they will request a check. Ran into this a number of times. Never fell for it......yet.

I had some guy call me up to rent my house, said he was from canada and he had a manager, would be working all over Michigan. Told me that he would send me a money order for 6 months of rent, and a security charge, but he had to pay his agent too. Wanted me to cash the money order and send the other 3000 to his agent in alabama. Wow, what a tool. I just cashed it and kept it, screw his agent. lol, jk
