I think those were from the Dirty Minds Jeep Club run there the same weekend as Snofari.

I'm guessing that because I see butler's axle's a little wider then normal, and I think thats the only time hes been off road.

We didn't go to OSTC for snofari because Lothos was there the week before and said we wouldn't be able to get up any of the hills.

Then we see where DMJC and some Silverxj were there & climbed all the hills.

any updates on this place?? the weather is starting to break. wondering if any challenges are being added.

with diesel going thru the room. I bet more and more "above" average rigs would be going if some "near impossible" trails were made.

The plan is to start on stuff when the weather breaks. But knowing that the West Branch/ Rose City area had a good 3 ft of snow on the ground, I would figure there is still quite a bit in the woods. We'll be touching base real soon.

I agree with your thoughts on the gas prices.

It would be fun to help build the trails! Maybe donate a day of labor and get a one day pass or something like that. Shoot, I'd prolly help for nothing though.

"we" would be me talking to him on the phone.

RE suggestions, I think that has been covered pretty well already and now it's in the working out phase with what he is willing to do. Remeber that this is first and foremost a motorcycle facility. So, there are ravines and hills that we would like to fill with boulders that he wants to keep open for the bikes. We will be walking the property to discuss where he is willing to modify and build the courses. I don't think we need a bunch of people for that. We had provided hims a bunch of info/ pics very similar to what we proposed for the mounds.

RE manpower, we had talked of a few work weekends. But, he has said that he can get alot done during the weekdays before his motorcycle season begins. After we walk the property, we can figure out whether a broad based work weekend makes sense. If you've ever talked with him, he is a high energy guy who has his own very strong opinions. I don't know if he would be open to a bunch of people on the property with chainsaws and running heavy equipment or if he would like to do the majority of the work himself.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the offer to get involved. Now that we know there may be others willing to help, we can see how it could play out.

Well let us know if there is anything we can do to help. I still think that property has great potential and could be a nice alternative to a 6 hour ride to the badlands or a 4-5 hour ride to canada/drummond.

As soon as we have a formal game plan for this spring and know how many people are needed and when, I will post up a formal invitation.
