I ran across this link here and thought it sounded like a cool idea,
http://www.kwanms.com/products/twc/twc.htm
I ordered one and it showed up a couple of days later. Before I could do the install Kwan called and said they had a program revision and were sending me a new chip, so I installed the new chip and then proceeded to do the wiring of the Black Box to the TJ, the wiring is very easy just pay attention (note to self: wire before beer) to the instructions. When I tried it nothing worked, so I double checked my connections and they looked good so I called Kwan and they gave me some voltage readings to check. After meter readings and another call to California they did not like the readings I was getting, so they suggested I put the old chip back in, Presto WORKS GREAT!!!! This thing is cool, turn on the power switch and you get throttle control by pushing the resume/accel button on your cruise control to raise RPM's, then push coast and the throttle goes back down, and push the cancel button and it cancels the throttle control. To activate the winch controls you hold down the set button when you turn on the power and now you have Incab winch control, push the on/off button and winch out, push the set button winch in, and you also have throttle control to control the RPM's. This setup is well worth the $100 I paid. When you are done turn off the power switch, shut off the Jeep and then when you restart the Jeep your cruise control works perfectly.

This is another good one winch control and pretty cheap too

Is there some kind of safety mechanism that keeps you from spooling out winch cable as your blasting down the freeway?
