'88 or '93 460's

What can you guys tell me about 1988 and 1993 460's?

I assume in those years they would have only been in trucks of some sort.
Fuel injected?
Anything good or bad or weird about those years that would make a difference in using one in a big stupid mud truck?

both EFI. 88 had some serious wiring issues, so plan on an aftermarket harness, they were fixed in anything after 89 though...

They were in F250 and 350s only

are you in need of 429/460 stuff? I know of lots of parts around and might be able to hook you up.

damnit, you're right, but the intakes are different

They were also in whambulances that usually had better internals and maybe higher CR.

Keep in mind that if you want to switch over to carb, you can't use a carb'd intake manifold on EFI heads as the head to intake bolt patterns are different between pre 87 carb'd and 88 and up EFI models.
