What gets me, is that if the politicians really do the work of the constituents, then ALASKA, the state the Arctic Refuge is in - and will be affected the most VOTED AGAINST THE "TREEHUGGERS".

of course they would. theres BILLIONS to be made by opening up the refuge to oil exploration. the slump in our economy could be pulled out with the opertunity of jobs in the north plus all the supporting infastructure that would need to be built.

whats really ironic is the tree huggers don't want the forests disturbed. we don't want forest certification because it may close the forest to us the ORV users. if we could get the tree huggers to see WE the users are the lesser of two evils then we could get them on our side.
