98 Polaris Scrambler, 2-stroke 400 help?

I have a 98 Scrambler 400, 2-stroke, put Boyeson reeds, and a dial-a-jet on it and it won't run for shiot.

I've adjusted the dial-a-jet down to where it shouldn't affect it, but still won't go very fast, in my opinion. Before I adjusted down, it ran okay, but would get to end of straightaway and bog down in the turn, then I'd wait for it to "wind up" and it'd take off? As if it's flooded and finally cleared it to take off again?

Has a FMF Fatty pipe and silencer on it. Stock bore, as far as I know.

Starts right up, first pull (rope start) but no speed?

Anyone have stock carb settings? I have two Chilton's but they only want to list 4-stroke specs

Ideas?

I can get you the carb specs tomorrow at work.

I would pull the spark plug and see if you are rich (black) or lean (bright white). The correct color should be a light brown.

I would look at your secondary clutch as well. Worn buttons can cause the clutch to stick and create a bog as well as reduced speed.

+80*F 210 main 1.5 turns on the air screw
40-80*F 230 main 1.5 turns
0-40*F 250 main 1.0 turns
