...now all I have to do is piece them together.
Start with a caddy big block:
Motor 1
Motor 2
Add an s-blazer frame:
Frame 1
Frame 2
Add a D44 front:
Rollin
Add a single cab S10 cab, TH400, np203:
Sorta together
Add a 14 bolt rear and some bigger tires:
Rear shot
Add some steering linkages (still need to clean that up):
Steering
And the whole thing looks a little less horrible in this shot:
Rust, what rust?
Its a cut and paste mutt project from over 10 vehicles now. Ive been having excellent luck with getting cheap or free parts at each step of the way.
The next step is getting that front suspension redone to handle the weight that its seeing now, finishing some brake plumbing, setup the cooling system, and then its ready for the first lawn victory lap.
There's still the winch mounting to handle, some sheet metal on the front end, roll cage / exo, wiring, gas tank, shift linkages, blah blah blah...
It takes time, but I'm having a blast learning. The basic goal of it was have a toy to trailer around, and start learning what I dont know that I dont know about building ground up.
