Front waggy 44's.. Changing bolt patterns, do I need new spindles?

I want to change from 6 lug to 8 lug..

Are the spindles universal?

All chevy/jeep stuff is the same... as long as you swap big bearing to big bearing, or small bearing to small bearing.

The 8 lug hubs add an ~1" or so per side if I remember correctly.

I have some 44 flatop knuckles drilled and tapped for arms and the guy ended up finding out they were different then the 6lug. I know the 8lug brakes are huge and the knuckles are quite different. Lemme know if your looking to pick anything up, i'm sure he would cut you a deal.
