what do you have left to do to your rig?


ive been working on the rig all week after class but i still have more piddely stuff. i should get it all done though.


have fixed / worked on
break lights (electrical nightmare)
removed flairs and sent to paint
tie rod end replaced

still have to finish
front drive shaft U joints
fix CB
install flairs
have bumper fixed
install lower dash

and last but not least renew my plates and get an orv sticker

build some kind of tunnel
build new shifters
build steeringshaft/column
run brake lines
run fuel lines
wire jeep
mount propane tank
mount seats
finish trans mount
finish brake mounts
finish exterior tube work

so like maybe 20 minutes of work?

i got mine plated, insured today

and need to

install one shock, build the bracket for it on the axle
alignment
towhooks
and a few minor interior things

trust me i left alot out.. im pulling rear drivers shaft right now to replace stupid spring in the seal :/

Install overhauled front axle (thanks to jeeperz creeperz!)
Install 4 shocks
coil spacers front and maybe rear
rear brakes
rear LCAs

Test wheel it at the Mounds tomorrow or sunday, make sure I didn't gently caress anything up while putting my Frankenlift together.

Add gas.
Add kill switch to the winch. I'm not real fond of 12 volts running to the front bumper at all times.
Speedo and dashlights would be nice, but it's a runner.

Sort out wiring so that it runs

So, asside from it not running, steering, stopping or offering a place for me to sit I'm practically ready to go.

Fix a squeak, fill diffs up due to leaky pinion seals that i'm too lazy to fix right now.

Hopfully replace the broken right front spring ( if black diamond gets on here on time).

It took me 6 hours to get my front axle out. I broke both cam bolts, A currie tie rod end, my middle finger on my left hand, and both UCA bolts. I have the smallest list on here, too!


well, okay, my finger's not broken, but it sure hurts like hell.
