This is going to be one hell of a pig gig!

I heard admission was free, but it's supposed to be a pain in the ass to get in

What trail rides? Pig Gig has no official trail rides. Sometimes people get together to go hit some nearby trails though.

From what I remember of the topography though, the trails don't exactly lend themself to baja style driving. Not sure what you mean about "grandma driving" but a leisurely pace is nice for those of us trying to enjoy the scenery and those that we're with. I'm at least in no hurry.

The reason Grandman built this course in the first place is because people were saying there was not anything challanging in West Branch, Most of the local trails are two tracks. St. Helen area has a nice play area, and there are a few hill if you know where to go. And Bull Gap is not that far for a day trip.

Bull Gap is a large sand hill about the size of Test Hill. Its east of Mio.

Preacher hill is a big no no to go on. If you do, don't be suprised to get a $150 ticket from a DNR Officer. I know they patrol the hill a lot, I've talked to them at the bottom of hit before.

You can drive up preacher hill, and over it. Why is it illegal?

if its the hill I'm thinking about (the only hill without a big log in it, i think the other is called stump hill), but after you go up the hill, theres some drop down trails on the other side.

Yes Stump Hill is a through trail you can keep going after you go over it. Preachers Hilll is not. you have to come back down which make the DNR wright tickets.

They try to say Stump hill is closed also but the law reads if it is a through trail you can go up it. Marv talked to a DNR officer about stump hill once and he said he would wright anyone that went on it. Marv told him fallow me there so you can wright the ticket and we can go to court and find out I will wait for you at the top. We pulled away and went up Stump hill and the officer went the other way??
