If you can make it, you really should. This is a good place to meet the people you see posting online.
Last year, a lot of new members to GL4x4 showed up, and every one I talked to had an absolute blast. Even if you have a stock 4x4, you will be able to go on some good trail rides, with some people who have been doing this for a long time.
Its also a good place to see different rigs in action on Marv's course, and you can learn a lot about what works and what doesn't.
