Ford 8.8 question

I have swapped a 8.8 out of a 97 explorer v8 w/ disc. Killer B installed the 4.88 gears.
Now my issue is i have some sort of gurgling in the rear at all speeds. It is as if my pinion was out of alighnment, but Jeeperz creeperz checked em and they are all good. So i am wondering if this is a common problem with the 8.8's. I am thinking it is the outer bearings, but i thought i would ask before i started to throw $$ at it.

Thanks

Not sure what axle gurgling sounds like but I don't have any axle gurgling or any unusual noises in my 8.8 and haven't heard any in Grandcherokees 8.8 either and they've both been in for a few years now.

DOH, i put my jeep on the hoist the other day and come to find out the rear end is good, but the bad is my t-case is toast. The noise i was hearing was the rear out put bearing that has about 1/2" of play in it....

What's wrong with rebuilding what you have? You can put in a hd chain at the same time. Even a 4:1 if you have the cash.
