GPS Tech: How to get bread crumbs off my GPSIII+

I have a Garmin GPSIII+ with quite a few breadcrumbs that I'd be willing to share, but what is a good way to get them a distributable format?

I'd probably need something that could clean them up a little too, since some of them are built over time, so there would be a lot of repeats.

Do you have a pc cable and Mapsource?

I can probably look and find some free software for you to just do waypoints and tracks...

But if you want to load maps on your III this would be great software to have. Unlike the new maps roads and rec don't have address and point of interest data (gas, food, lodging, etc...), so you can fit more maps on your GPS which doesn't have much memory.
