Here in Big Rapids, don't care. Not my problem at the apartment complex. Back in the U.P., we rake them up and burn them

Rake, blow or tarp to the burb. City sends the sucker truck around. There are times you can barely get down our street there are so many leaves. The city ain't called Oak Park for nothing.

I miss home. We don't really have much problems with leaves at my parents' house. Mostly surrounded by cedar and pine. AND it snowed last weekend and I missed it.

I just use the mulching mower. I have over a dozen huge trees. Bagging/burning etc is out of the question.

Previously, I have used the bagger to fill out 8ft x 8 ft x 4ft compost pile, then mow up the rest into little pieces. But now that I'll be selling the house in 2 years, I'm getting rid of the compost pile, so I just mow them up.

After you get the u-bolts off and release the axle, remove the center bolt. This should allow you to remove whatever leaf you want except for the main one. I usually buy a new very long center bolt in advance rather then trying to put the pack back together with the original one.

City of Saginaw is a broke Mofo, I gotta bag em and hope that they come pick them up eventually, before the bags rot out on the bottom. They come around twice a year to collect from the streets, but both times are before the trees actually start shedding. Morons.
