This is my second trailer for myself. I just sold my trailer to a friend to take to washington and need to build another for myself. But with me, anything is for sale! lol.

Anyways...

This is going to be a demo trailer for some trailers we are going to offer to ppl. It is pretty much going to have all the bells and whistles.

Some specs on it..

16' deck, 2' dove
4x2 boxed tube
Adjustable 2 5/16 coupler
all wiring will be ran inside the frame
Treated wood deck
2-3500k axles, both with brakes

I build my last trailer with a longer tounge then most trailers have, it turned out really nice, esp when you have a LONG tow rig. The tounge is about 5" longer then most trailers come with, it works really nice.

once I get this one done, I will have a baseline for prices on trailers. All of the trailers we will be building with be built with boxed tube main frame. All wires will be run inside the frame, and will at least have 1 brake axle on them.(we encorage 2). 2 5/16" couplers, soldered wires for lights and slide away ramps.

I will keep the pics updated on this trailer. And if anyone is interested, pm me with what your looking for.

The refer to trailer's as "deck over and deck under" A deck over is where the frame is over the tires.

On a trailer this big, you put alot of wieght higher in the air. It makes for nicer pull with a deck under. You need a deck over when you haul heavier equipment, and most of the time they go to goosenecks at the same time.

Trailer lingo is funny! They also call SOA "overslung" and SUA "underslung"

A nice feature of a deck-over is that in many of the places we like to take our rigs, a deck under trailer would drag like a mofo.

Another feature I wish I had on my trailer (and will when I get around to wiring it up) is to have a set of bright back-up lights and a set of work lights mounted on the vertical posts that connect the gooseneck. But that doesn't apply to a bumper pull trailer. That trailer looks sweet though!

Recap: .. Dodge Ram 3500 Dually 4wd towing Trailer w/ Jeep with Tow Strap attached to pull the Ford 350 2wd towing Trailer w/ Toyota PU up slick wet clay entrance to Forbidden Zone at Yellow Creek/Wellsville..

it would have made a sweet dodge commercial..

that could easily be done and some bigger enclosed trailers come with this as all 7 pins has a reverse light wire in them !

You can run back ups with 7 pin, but it is not standard
1-left turn
2-right turn
3-tail
4-ground
5-trailer brakes
6-constant power/accessory of your choise
7-ignition power to charge break away kit

On the 2 enclossed trailers my future father in law has the constant power is hooked to the inside lights on the trailer.

I got them off ebay, brand new tires, and wheels for $150 + $150 for shipping. When I got them today, the wheels were brand new as well! I priced trailer tires like this at discount they were $58 each. So I got a steal on these.
