chevy SB headers on a Dauntless II Bucik SB

Will they work ?? i got a set of long tube chevy SB headers for free a while back and im thinkin of rebuilding my Dauntless II buick 350 and wana use these if they'll work ?

Will they bolt up & seal to the heads? if so then yes. I would guess they are not the same bolt pattern

The Buick cast manifolds flow pretty good. I would suggest you sell the headers for some head porting tools and practice your porting skills on the intake & exhaust ports. And a 4bbl intake $$$ and carb $$$ if you wan't even more power.

i just had the headers laying around and i know trying to gt used maniflds back on is a bitch and a half job cause they usually move a little once take them off...

those have enough "meat " that they don't move around like the chevy manifolds. even if you have to machine the sealing surface flat again you will be better off then headers.. headers all leak eventually.

from what I can tell from the pidtures of the engine, it looks like standard 350 Buick stuff, they made tons of parts for them and there is lots of old engines around to get trick parts out of. my buddy did a 350 out of a `65 wildcat and it was 10.25:1 compression ratio and it had a decent cam. so theres lots to hunt for.

i say give me the headers so you dont havce to make a new exhaust on that truck.

what exhaust ?? u mean the crossover pipe thats alll blown apart from the backfires ??
and if i dont use the headers i'll keep them
