Truck question

Granted right now I'm half asleep and not quite sure this is accurate, but while driving back from class and through a parking lot that's very bumpy, I noticed the bed of my truck seemed to be moving more than the cab was. I was looking through my side view mirror. Would this indicate that I have a loose body mount on the bed of my truck?

it would indicate that when you're tired and driving, you should keep your eyes on the road and not focused on the bed behind you.

I think it's normal.

Its not THAT normal. You ~might~ have a few bolts that could use some tightening.

if its a Dodge the bed rails that bolt to frame probably tore out all the spot welds that hold them to the box bottom of the bed. if that the case then remove the box flip it over and glue them back in with windshield urathane, have fun.

Frame flex. Torsional twist of the frame, makes the body go one way and the bed go the other.

It appears that way because you are sitting in the cab, so you are in a moving point of reference, you don't notice the absolute motion of either piece, just the relative motion between the two.

That's what I figured. The bed wasn't moving alot...and I was also half asleep.
