Per Greasemonkey's request.....

1999

150,000 highway miles (daily driver 60 miles/day), all synthetic fluids.

Averages 12-14 mpg

360 V8, tow package, cruise, AC, 4wd, Trans-go shift kit, Autometer tranny temp gauge, bedliner, SLT Laramie package, CD player, 4 door - seats 6, BRAND NEW toyo A/T tires, new brakes, new plugs wires cap and rotor, 8 foot bed.

Condition is EXCELLENT. I doubt you will find a 1999 truck in better condition. I mean, just look at the pictures!

Identical trucks with 100K miles go for $11 - $12K in Autotrader. Blue Book for this truck with 150K (takes into account mileage) is $8250 private sale by owner. Dealership told me they will give me $6500 as that is an expected auction value for this vehicle. I'd like to get around $6500, but am open to offers.

Shoot me an offer before February and I'll make you a really great deal. Then I won't have to renew my plates and insurance.....

I'm looking for around $4,000 less than similar trucks are listed in Autotrader.......

And condition on this is EXCELLENT. I challenge you to find a 1999 Ram in better condition.

Located between Ann Arbor and Jackson Michigan (SE Michigan).

It tows my CJ just fine. It has the tow package, new brakes, transgo shift kit and tranny temp gauge. All designed for towing applications.

Picture below from 2 weeks ago in West Branch:

Wow...150,000 miles and I cannot believe the shape it's in. I would've put it at 70,000...no more.

Yes, well it runs like it did at 70,000 miles. The milage just comes from highway driving to and from work ~22,000 miles a year.

Of coarse a similar truck at 70,000 miles will run you $11,000. This ones only $6,500.......

Sticker in 1999 was like $33,000.

Symmes. Make me a reasonable offer then take out a loan. Rates are good right now and I am WAY below NADA on my price thinking so a loan should be easy to get.

Spro, the bed is spotless. Not a single dent or scratch. Buy the truck and you can have the bed.

Someone should make me an offer. I'm motivated to sell. I'm in debt up to my eyeballs and need to SELL THIS TRUCK.

Perfect runner. Oil pan is dry as a bone. All highway miles. Body in near excellent condition. Factory tow package makes getting your Jeep to the trail easy. 8 foot bed perfect for transporting home improvement projects. New tires.........., rebuilt transmission............, new brakes........., new AC and heater core..........

Come on people.

You're expecting good mileage out of a vehicle that size, with that payload, that engine, and 4wd? That truck will do what it was designed to do very well and its very comfortable.

Go buy a Neon.

Actually it gets good gas mileage for what it is, just that I need something that gets better but would rather have a fullsize truck. Guess I needed to spell that out.

Good luck on the sale wish I could buy it.

Argh, if only It was summer, when I'd have the money for it..

I used to have a ext cab/long bed 2000 ram, excellent for towing.

For those used to driving a rig like a TJ/YJ to the trails, the comfort you gain in driving something quiet, stable, and roomy, its amazing how much better the trip is. REALLY reduces driver fatigue.

I really would like the cash not an XJ. I might consider a TJ trade or possibly a trade for a motorhome, but that's about all I could do. I have a car payment I'd like to get rid of.

KBB and NADA for this exact truck (adjusted for miles) is:

$11,000 used dealer
$8,300 private sales

A Ford dealership offered me $6,500 trade-in on a Ford Focus. They said they could re-sell it for that at a DEALER auction. Problem was Ford thinks their Focus is worth a lot more than I do, so I passed.

Bottom line, I would take $6,000. It's a hell of a deal on this truck. I just need to pay off my car payments.
