tubing bender near grand rapids?

Trying to build a cage and looking for a bender. If anyone has one, or knows of a place to get bent in G.R., please let me know. My truck isn't driveable right now so I would prefer local. Willing to rent/pay for help.

good luck warhof. I spent almost a whole day calling around trying to find someone who had one/willing to do it. Nothing.

I ended up finding one guy, but I don't think he'd appreciate it if I gave out his number.


you're best off buying one, and then you can charge people to do it for them.

I bought the "plans" off ebay today. Now I am in a dispute trying to get my money back. The directions I recieved, were how to buy and use a harbour freight bender (which I have) to bend tubing. Buy bender. Fill tube with sand. Bend. What bullshit.

As soon as I get my money back, I am gonna buy REAL plans and build one. I may build a few at that time and sell a couple.

yeah i tried rigging up a harbor frieght with some tooling foam, but it still kinked the hell out of the tubing. found a place in holland with a jd2, but i would rather not pay shop rates...

I am going round and round with him now, via email.

I did come up with a couple ideas of crap I could sell on ebay though:

A better way to wipe your ass (use toilet paper)
How to walk through doorways without touching a door (remove hinges)
How to quickly add, subtract, multiply, or divide numbers(use a calculator)

I told him I will remove the feedback and cancel my paypal and ebay disputes once I get payment back. I wont however, do anything about the 6 or 7 major forums I posted it on.
