Mig 110 or 220

when welding(mig) shock mounts and track arm mounts, can you use 110volt welder rated to weld the thickness of material or do i need to use the 220 due to the fact it gets hotter?

this is for an 8.8 in my YJ i just wanna make sure before it gets welded up

110v would work for those applications. Clean everything very good to bare clean metal, make sure the parts fit tightly, and bevel the edges a bit to get better penetration.
